I like working at PSC because I like the environment. It's friendly, comfortable, family oriented and sometimes fun! I like that if for whatever reason you need work off, we all try and work together to help that person out so they can take care of their needs. I like that it is slower paced than a regular nursing home so you can accommodate to the resident’s needs, emotionally and physically. I also like the management we have.

I love working at PSC because of the residents. I like that I get to help take care of them, and it makes me feel proud to work here. Another reason is because my grandpa had Alzheimer's/Dementia and now one of my aunts and my grandma suffer from the horrible disease. Sometimes it can be crazy and stressful, and there have been times I wanted to quit and find another job for personal issues, but one of the main reasons I didn't is because I love doing what I do and I love the residents. I wouldn't change this job for anything.

Working at PSC for the last 6 year's has been a huge privilege to me!! I love all the residents, co-workers, and the director!! Somedays can be tough, watching them decline!! But knowing that I have done my best to care for them always puts a smile on my face!!

The reason I love working at the cottage is that I love to listen to the residents-stories. I truly feel I care about each and everyone of them by getting to know them. It is always a good feeling when you have been gone a few days and they recognize that and say they miss you. I love giving them hugs some days just for no reason at all. Some say you know exactly what I want and thank you just for helping them. I feel they love us in their own way, and I try to make them feel special and beautiful in their own way.
